2nd Place Pushes Noel Up the PGA Order Of Merit

Noel Quinn sent a timely reminder to his fellow East Region PGA professionals this week that he is a force to be reckoned with after a superb 5 under par 2nd round at the Weston Homes Classic.

Noel played solidly on day 1, carding 2 birdies and an eagle before a triple bogey at the last stopped him im his tracks.

Level par left him in tied 11th place with 4 other players. No such mistakes on day 2: a par on the last kept him at 5 under, after a round comprising no fewer than 7 birdies. Only tournament winner, Mark Hooper scored lower on the day with 6 under.

Noel's excellent performance took him to 2nd place for the tournament and up to 5th in the East Region PGA Order of Merit.

Noel will be in action again on 22nd June in the Knebworth Classic.
